Healthy cats and dogs will require yearly physical exam and various vaccination updates throughout the year. Long Animal Hospital highly recommends annual blood work to monitor and care for your pet’s internal health. Early detection is important, and many potential issues can be prevented or corrected through simple measures such as dietary modification, cleanings to maintain pet dental health, or adding a new vaccine to your pet’s wellness program. Only your veterinarian can make these decisions, and regularly scheduled wellness exams are the best way to ensure your companion stays in good health through his or her adult years.
Senior Pet Wellness
Once your pet reaches his or her senior years, our veterinarians become even more concerned with detecting health problems early.
