This transition will take place on Tuesday, May 20th. Our dedicated team has been working hard to prepare for this change through extensive training. As with any new technology, we anticipate there may be some initial adjustments and potential temporary slowdowns as we all get acquainted with the new system. We appreciate your patience during this time.
Here’s what you need to know:
– Appointment Confirmations (appointments made prior to May 20th): To ensure a smooth switchover, we kindly ask that you call us to confirm any appointments you have scheduled for May 20th or later. Please note that our team will not have access to our new system until May 20th. While we can still schedule new appointments using our current system before that date, we won’t be able to confirm appointments in the new system until May 20th. This confirmation request applies to all appointment types, including doctor’s visits, surgeries, rehabilitation, grooming, and boarding. If you book an appointment before May 20th, our team will remind you to call and confirm. This step is vital to ensure all your pet’s information has transferred accurately.
– In-Person Visits (Following May 20th): We kindly request that you allow a little extra time for appointments and drop-offs for boarding and grooming, especially in the days immediately following May 20th. Your patience with our team during these initial in-person interactions as they navigate the new system will be greatly appreciated. Rest assured, they remain committed to providing the best possible care for your furry family members.
– Introducing Our New Pet Portal: We’re thrilled to introduce a new, user-friendly pet portal designed for your convenience! This portal will provide you with easy access to your pet’s records, appointment details, and much more. When you visit us, our team will be happy to provide you with more information and guide you on how to use this exciting new feature. Please note that this new portal will replace our current one and will become accessible on May 20th.
Exciting New Features: Our new system comes with some fantastic features to improve communication and efficiency:
1. Two-Way Text Messaging: Enjoy the convenience of text conversations for appointment reminders, vaccine updates, and more.
2. Electronic Documentation: We’re moving towards electronic forms, allowing you to sign documents remotely or via a tablet in the hospital.
3. Pre-Exam Forms: To expedite your check-in and initial exam process, you’ll be able to fill out pre-appointment questionnaires and forms electronically before your visit.
